DUSEL Research Association (DuRA)

The DuRA is proposed as an association to represents the interests of the DUSEL scientific community. It is proposed that the DuRA will:

1. Represent the interests of the entire subsurface science community in communicating with both the Facility and the funding agencies

2. Comprise a membership of the full community.

3. Comprise an Executive Committee that liaises between the Facility and the funding agencies. This Executive Committee would:

a. Initially comprise the DEDC membership but would transition within one year to a new Executive Committee.

b. Be elected by the membership and include no more than two members from a single collaboration.

c. Contain at least one member from each of the Physics and BGE communities.
